As part of our school’s wider Personal, Social and Health Education programme, your child will be receiving lessons on relationships, sexual health and personal safety.
As you may already be aware, the Department for Education announced changes to relationships sex and health education (RSE) making it a compulsory subject. These changes need to be in effect in the summer term, when all schools will be required to comply with the updated requirements. We are keen to share what we are planning with you and understand your views on it.
As part of our parental consultation process, we invite you to have a look at the new draft RSE policy. Our website shares our new draft policy, which we would really appreciate your feedback.
We would like to invite you:
– To take the opportunity to view our draft policy
– Complete a questionnaire in order for your feedback to be captured
