EYE GAZE at BIRCHWOOD
Eye Gaze is a new technology that allows children with non verbal communication and poor Physical skills to access their world using their eyes. Their eyes activate a screen which can be used to play games, create pictures and also to make choices and to begin to control their environment and communicate. A number of children in the school are using the equipment that we currently have and it would be wonderful to buy another set so that those that can, will have better and more frequent access to this technology.
We have currently raised and been promised nearly £5,000 but we need a further £3,000 to buy the full set of equipment plus the necessary programmes to go with it.
If you feel that you would like to support this project, please send any donations directly to Birchwood School referencing Eye Gaze Fund.
